I am a qualified Beauty Therapist, Permanent Make Up artist and Pedicurist. I have over nineteen years of experience in the beauty industry. I specialise in natural looking permanent make up also known as cosmetic tattooing. I have a background in diabetic foot treatment and advanced pedicures for him and her. I am originally from the Netherlands where I have trained and then brought this wealth of experience to New Zealand in 2014.
I had my own successful business ‘Sylvia Lok Institute for Skincare and Permanent Make Up’. I had 2 members of staff and held a licence to work with several health insurance companies because of my specialisation in Diabetic footcare and Acne treatment for both males and females.
Working in the New Zealand beauty industry since 2014 I gained further qualifications in Laser treatments, advanced facial Peels, Dermaplaning and Dermal needling.
I am passionate about making sure that my clients have a wonderful experience when they come to see me.
